Mark Moss’s “Perspectives” is characterized by diversity and creativity, making this collection of acoustic rock songs quite enjoyable. Songs range from slow ballads like “Questions’ to strong rock anthems like “Back 2 U.” Mark's vocal style takes the center stage on this album, emitting strength and great tone and control. Moreover, the instrumentation on this album is superb, best demonstrated by the catchy acoustic guitar riffs in “Baskets for Mom.” Lyrically, “Perspectives” conveys themes of heart break and fond memories. Furthermore, the production of this CD is simply outstanding. Lovers of soulful acoustic rock will be sure to enjoy this assembly of tunes!
