Rockin’ weekend, holy cow. I met a lot of people new to the whole music scene and hung out with some steadfast veterans as well – had a blast!
CR Landing had a pub crawl Thursday night “South Side” of the river and place was packed all night long. Friday night was Uptown Friday Nights, despite threatening weather many came out to party with us and it was a great time seeing some coworkers, friends new and old, musicians, DJs, etc out to enjoy some hot weather, cold beer and live music! Saturday Irish Fest (1st annual) was a hit at Paddy O’Rourkes and had a blast there as well. Belly dancers showed up, Travis & Brenda showed up (6th yr anniversary), 20 somethings to 50 somethings packed the place and all had a good time (except the one dude Gunnar bounced).
Thanks all who came out to have some fun, next show is the Romper Room Ride in Earlville at the Raceway. Great White is playing that night, music all day, tons of Harleys, tons of fun!!!
